Drop Down Lists in Tables - different list values?

Postby tfoster » Wed Apr 01, 2015 8:38 pm

When a table column's Cell Type attribute is set to "Drop Down List", the default handling is such that each row contains the same list contents (as you are generically passing the column handle to any subsequent Listbox management functions.) Is there some way to treat each row separately, so that contents of the listbox column can vary from one row to another? Much in the same way as has been implemented in Team Developer's Attribute Inspector...

I assume there is some way to prop open the hood a bit more and do this sort of thing, but so far I haven't had any success. Am I missing any obvious solutions?

Thanx,
tim

Hi Tim,

yes. You have to fill the list dynamically each time the context row changes.
e.g. On SAM_RowSetContext.
