Apache as Web Server running on Windows Host

Postby CptArchernNx01 » Thu May 15, 2008 1:51 am

Hello forum members,

just a simple Question: What do I have to do to run a Gupta Web-Application on a Windows (XP) machine with a Apache Web Server (version could be changed)?

thanx

During installation of TD including Web extensions you will be asked what kind fo Web Server you have. If you choose Other/CGI (Non IIS) you will be asked for an installation directory for the WAM CGI interface. Choose your apache CGI directory for that. Ater that you should be ready to go.

If you did not specify that during install you can find the file in your TD directory \Programs\Unify\Team Developer 5.1\WAM\Other\cwcgi51.exe
This file needs to be present in Apache's CGI directory. This file talks to the WAM application services on the machine.

Hi Martin,

thank you for your detailed instruction. Is there any restriction of the version of the Apache web server (as mentioned in "webdev.pdf" for a linux installation of WAM)? Otherwise I would prefer the latest release ( 2.2.8 ).
